Combined General Liability (CGL) & Site Pollution Liability (SPL) Insurance
Our Combined General Liability and Site Pollution Liability package policy offers coverage for pollution events resulting in claims for third-party bodily injury, property damage, and off-site cleanup costs, as well as commercial general liability coverage for the insured’s operations. This package policy includes pollution coverage available for both new and pre-existing conditions.
The Combined General Liability and Site Pollution Liability Package policy may be underwritten for a variety of industry groups involved with waste disposal and recycling, including:
- Landfills
- Solid waste facilities
- Recycling facilities
- Transfer stations
- Incinerators
- Land farms
- Composting facilities
Policy Features
- Coverage written through AM Best “A+” and “A” rated carriers
- Site pollution is claims-made and reported
- Location specific
- Site pollution coverage for off-site third-party bodily injury, property damage, and clean-up costs
- General liability available for eligible classes
- Covers new and pre-existing conditions (either can be deleted by endorsement)
- Coverage enhancements include non-owned disposal site and transportation of waste (no financial responsibility)
- Limits of liability up to $10M
- Minimum premium: $2,000
- Commercial general liability offers bodily injury and property damage coverage under an ISO CG 00 01 occurrence form
Submission Requirements
- Alta Risk site pollution liability application, where applicable (signed and dated by the insured when bound)
- ACORD general liability application
- Five (5) year summary of losses, with a description provided for large losses
