Environmental Excess Liability (EEL) Insurance

Our Environmental Excess Follow Form Liability offers Follow Form coverage on either a supported or unsupported basis. This insurance coverage attaches to scheduled underlying primary policies, including Commercial General Liability, Contractors Pollution Liability, Professional Liability, Site Liability, Business Auto Liability and Employers Liability. On an unsupported basis, we also offer Follow Form coverage over other environmental carrier’s scheduled underlying Commercial General Liability, Contractors Pollution Liability, Professional Liability, Site Liability, Business Auto Liability and Employers Liability policies.

Policy Benefits

• Coverage is written through an A.M. Best A- or better rated carrier
• Follows form with the Primary policy
• Covers loss in excess of the underlying limits of insurance
   

Policy Features

• Available to environmental contractors, consultants, and site pollution accounts in combination with General Liability and Environmental coverages
• $1M/$1M primary minimum attachment point for General Liability, Pollution and Professional Liability coverages
• $1M CSL minimum attachment point – Business Auto
• $500,000 minimum attachment point – Employers Liability
• Follow form pollution assists larger insureds to build the total higher limits needed for their environmental or non-environmental projects or site locations
• Minimum premium: $2,000
• Limits up to $5M available
   

Submission Requirements

• Copy of underlying quotes, policies, endorsements, and premiums
• Completed environmental supplemental application from the primary underlying carrier
• Past three (3) years loss history
• Last two (2) years financial statements
